The offices and programs that make up Community Health Planning and Statistics conduct ongoing community health data collection and analysis in an effort to understand and monitor the health status and health needs of residents.
Hendry County’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is a collaboration of the Florida Department of Health in Hendry County, the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida and several community partners who studied the information in the Community Health Assessment and chose the areas that we believe both need attention and where we can make a difference.
The Healthier Hendry Glades Task Force was formed and this group continues to work toward helping the residents of Hendry County become healthier. The task force welcomes community members to join.
