Hendry County’s Community Health Assessment (CHA) 2013 is a compilation of the most recent data that describes the state of our county’s health.  The CHA is a collaboration of the Florida Department of Health in Hendry County and the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida.  The CHA provides an in-depth look at health factors (behaviors, clinical care, and the physical environment) and the outcomes (length and quality of life) that are a result of our county’s status.

Hendry County’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is a collaboration of the Florida Department of Health in Hendry County, the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida and 25 community partners who studied the information in the Community Health Assessment (CHA) and chose the areas that we believe both need attention and where we can make a difference.
Hendry CHIP 2013

From the people working on the CHA and the CHIP, the Healthier Hendry Glades Task Force was formed and this group continues to work toward helping the residents of Hendry County become healthier. The Task Force welcomes community members to join.
